The Red Bank Council of the Chamber of Commerce announced they will sponsor a Childrens Pageant in conjunction with the Red Bank Jubilee which occurs on May 5. The pageant will be held at the Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Morrison Springs Road at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, and is open to the Red Bank geographical area elementary schools.
The Miss Thomasville Scholarship Board is sponsoring Pageant Boot Camp for Teens on Sunday, March 25, from 2-4 p.m. at the Plaza Restaurant on Broad Street in downtown Thomasville. The Boot Camp is designed specifically for girls, ages 12-16, who are interested in competing in the Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen Program.
Nearly 1,000 pounds of shrimp are set to boil this Saturday and Sunday, when the Lions Club hosts its 49th annual Shrimp Festival at Lynn Hall Park.
